'tis time

We celebrated our fifth anniversary this last weekend. It doesn't feel like it's been that long but five years seems like a long time, does that make sense?

We went horse back riding upstate, stayed in a bed & breakfast and hiked to a lake in the Adirondacks. So much fun, and relaxing, and comfortable and just perfect!

We had this lake to ourselves, the peace and quiet was sooo welcomed after living in noise-pollution-land. We just talked for about an hour and took some selfies while we laid out on this rock.

Then while Jon-David was adjusting he thought to check and make sure we hadn't been laying on anything. Turns out we had been...

This SNAKE! He was literally right under our backs for who knows how long. He was like 'hey guys, isn't this great?'

So we moved ourselves over to another rock where I nearly stepped on a frog and then once we sat back down we got chased off by a bee.

Maybe we've been in the city too long. Nature hates us.

But we love it.

And each other.

And Christmas.
